Location
Internship locations vary, with most opportunities in Lake and Porter County, Indiana. The Corporate Centre is located in Merrillville, Indiana.


Interns are grouped and assigned a Capstone Topic to research and present to the Bank’s Senior Leadership Team, showcasing their learning and innovation.
Centier Bank is committed to having a Servant’s Heart, a value that extends to interns. Participants engage in community volunteerism and bank events, contributing to the community's well-being.
This past summer, our interns helped clean up the Indiana Dunes.
Interns interact with associates across the organization through group leadership panels and one-on-one sessions. Special events are also organized for interns to network with each other. The program celebrates achievements with a National Intern Day celebration.
Interns have access to in-person professional development opportunities, including:
- Franklin Covey trainings
- Workshops and seminars on industry topics
- Resume building and interview skills sessions
Each intern is paired with a designated mentor who assists in setting goals, providing perspectives, and examining mindsets. Interns meet with their mentors bi-weekly or more frequently if desired, ensuring a mutually beneficial relationship.

Yes, all bank internships are paid positions.
No! While many of our bank Interns are finance or accounting majors, we also have many Interns with majors in Business, Marketing, or even Arts & Humanities.
The banking Internship is a 12-week program beginning in May and running through early August.
