CENTIER BANK'S NEW DOWNTOWN LAFAYETTE BRANCH TO WELCOME (BACK) DIANA GROMLEY AS MANAGER
Centier Bank, Indiana’s largest private, family-owned and operated bank, is pleased to announce Diana Gromley’s move from the branch recently located at 323 Columbia Street to Centier’s new downtown Lafayette branch opening on the first floor of the Centier Tower at 201 Main Street. Gromley’s move coincides with the official opening of the new branch on Monday, October 27th, where Gromley will continue to drive value to the region’s clients as the location’s Branch Manager.
Gromley joined Centier in late 2023 with over 30 years of experience in banking. Her career has spanned various financial institutions throughout Lafayette, including leadership roles such as Vice President and Retail Manager. She has earned several prestigious awards for her work, including recognition as a leading manager and lending coach.
“Diana’s extensive knowledge in mortgage loans, management, and retail banking, in addition to her passion for serving the community, makes her an invaluable leader for the downtown Lafayette team,” said Lisa O’Neal, Centier Bank Vice President and Regional Sales Manager for the Greater Lafayette market. “I know the new branch and its clients will thrive under her leadership.”
As branch manager, Gromley will oversee all day-to-day branch operations, empower a team of retail banking professionals, and bolster Centier’s value to Tippecanoe County residents and businesses. This new branch will join Centier’s existing mortgage and business banking offices within the newly renamed downtown Lafayette Centier Tower, bringing together Centier branch staff and service line experts. And for Gromley, the return to this location at 201 Main Street is even more meaningful, as Gromley’s banking career started in that very location of that same building in 1992.
“My banking career has literally come full circle – and I now get to return to the place that I got to work at way back in the 1990s,” said Gromley. “So much has changed though – I now have years of experience behind me, I get to work for Centier Bank, which is one of the best decisions I have ever made, and we are opening this beautiful new branch where we will be able to serve the downtown Lafayette community with an even higher level of hospitality than ever before.”
Outside of work, Gromley enjoys spending time outdoors – from camping to dirt biking and beyond. She serves on the board of directors for Willowstone Family Services, a local nonprofit focused on strengthening mental health and families. She is also an active member of Greater Lafayette’s Association of Women Business Owners and RPM Business Network Group. She has been married to her husband, Ray, for 15 years and is a mother of three and a grandmother of five.
